Kestrel is one of the original Portnellan lodges - but is still impressively appointed. It features a larger-than-usual sitting and dining area and is situated near the house, at the foot of the estate's natural ampitheatre. One king size double bedroom and two twin bedrooms. Tiled bathroom with shower over bath. Fitted kitchen with breakfast area; sitting/dining room opens to verandah with BBQ.

General features: Double glazing, fitted carpets, lounge suite, dining table and chairs, electric heating, TV with DVD, video and satellite channel, stereo CD hi-fi, garden furniture and barbeque, vacuum cleaner, iron, ironing board and clothes horse.

Bedrooms: King-size double room and two twin rooms. Linen provided, fitted wardrobe and drawers, hair dryer, bedside lighting and alarm clock.

Bathroom: Bath with shower over. Bathmat provided.

Kitchen: Fridge-freezer, washing machine, fan-assisted oven with hob, dishwasher, microwave, sandwich toaster, food processor, coffee perculator, toaster, cutlery, crockery, a wide range of glasses, cooking utensils, pots and pans, tea towels and even an oven glove. Please note there's no tumble dryer in Kestrel, but we offer a free laundry service instead.
